Segment Code Specification

It would be great to be able to determine which segment code was being used at a given time in a Workflow. At this time when using features such as concatenate segment codes it does it in order of placement in the Workflow. I would like to be able to select specifically which segmentation I am including the segment code to use so I can create variable content with emails based on segment code from Workflow.
