href question

Hi,

when we use Adobe campaign we sometimes use the right hand side to add a link which adds another bit of code: 

target="_blank" data-id="al1547575278605758054" data-nl-type="externalLink" data-nl-lnkep-perso-attr-href

however, when adding in the link in the code it doesn't do that. 

Can someone pleas explain the difference between just 

hred="#" 

and the below that Adobe adds when adding the link on the right hand side VS in the html

target="_blank" data-id="al1547575278605758054" data-nl-type="externalLink" data-nl-lnkep-perso-attr-href
