How to send a email in real-time

I want to use Adobe Campaign standard to set up a process.

When a customer creates an account on my website for the first time,

I will send a welcome email to them immediately.Is this feasible in ACS?

If so,how can I do this?

Yes you can do this by configuring transactional events and transactional messages in ACS, refer below link:
