Please go through this link to learn how to create query https://docs.campaign.adobe.com/doc/AC6.1/en/WKF_Quick_start_Creating_queries.html and for examples https://docs.campaign.adobe.com/doc/AC6.1/en/PTF_Creating_queries_Examples.html

after that you can select when brand is equal to empty and you are set.
