How to include current date with all the data/records

Hello,

I am using Additional Data field to include current date with every record in the data. So if I am sending the email today (Feb 21), the system date (02222021) should get include with every record. I am using following (see attached as well) as my Additional Data field:

Type: Simple field

Label: Current_Date

DateOnly(GetDate())

But its not working. Any idea how to fix this?
