Editing a custom resource

I have a custom resource which is Deliveries delivery

I want to edit this and enable additional filtering criteria in the deliveries attributes.

Can someone please let me know if there are specific checks to be followed before doing this? What would be the steps as I see that it doesn't publish the changes if I try to make edits.

Is there any other step required?

I was able to edit and publish the changes. This is resolved. Thanks again.
