Data Attribute (PII) Masking for specific group.

Hi All,

We have security requirement, where we need to mask the recipient PII fields/attributes for specific group. For example First Name Last name and Email address should not be visible for Administrator and Support team.

Can anyone have thought to achieve this, as these attributes under NMS schema.

Thanks.

Hi,

You can use system filters to restrict write and/or read access to certain schemas.

Please have a look at the documentation for more details about how to use this feature: https://docs.campaign.adobe.com/doc/AC6.1/en/CFG_Editing_schemas_Protecting_schemas.html.

Best,

Florent.

Hello,

Masking some fields of a given schema for specific user groups is currently not supported in Adobe Campaign.

Thanks Florent, while saying that masking some fields of giving Schema is not available OTB, But can we mask the entire schema for specific user group. Like nms:recipient table which hold the most of PII data can be masked for specific group.

Hi,

A new page on this topic was added in the documentation: https://docs.campaign.adobe.com/doc/AC6.1/en/CFG_Editing_schemas_Restricting_PII_view.html

Hope this helps,

Is there a way to do this in Adobe Campaign Standard (v7) ? If yes, could you please share the link.

The link above is taking to Campaign 6.1

Hi,

Adobe Campaign v7 is the version after 6.1 (both console)

Adobe Campaign Standard is different from v7 and v6.

So, in v7, it works as described in the 6.1 page.

For Campaign Standard, this is not yet available but it is planned. I have no date to share though.

Hope this helps,

Florent
