Campaign Standard - Microsoft Dynamics 365 integration

Activate your CRM data on cross-channel communication:

  • learn how to pass on contacts from Microsoft Dynamics 365 to Adobe Campaign, and
  • share campaign performance data (sends, opens, clicks, and bounces) back from Adobe Campaign to Microsoft Dynamics 365.

The new Campaign Standard - Microsoft Dynamics 365 integration is now available here: Get Started with Microsoft Dynamics 365 integration

You can also learn to configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 for use in the Dynamics and Campaign Standard integration with the help of this video tutorial: Configure Microsoft® Dynamics 365 for the integration with Campaign Standard

We're looking to integrate our existing D365 with ACS.  Looking at the cross-channel communications, will this allow D365 activities to be passed to ACS for automated campaign/workflow or transactional message triggers?  So key events within D365 used to automate/trigger or allow for trigger points within ACS programs?

Hi Andrew,

Thank you for your question.

The main use cases for the D365/ACS connector are the following:

  1. Synchronizing contacts from Dynamics 365 to Campaign so they can be targeted in marketing campaigns
  2. Synchronizing custom entities from Dynamics 365 to Campaign so they can be used for segmentation and personalization
  3. Sending email marketing events (sends, opens, clicks, bounces) from Campaign to Dynamics 365 to display in the timeline view
  4. Synchronizing opt-out (e.g., do not email) statuses between Dynamics 365 and ACS to maintain customer privacy preferences.

To summarize, the connector was designed for data movement/synchronization; it was not designed to trigger events or actions within ACS. However, we'd love to hear more about your use case so we can understand it better.

HI @sukrity_wadhwa

The documentation is no longer available via that link and I can't seem to find it by searching for Dynamics CRM and Campaign Standard. Any idea where the details of the integration can be found now?

Many thanks in advance
