when trying an API call for one of our ACS instance it returns following error.

nPGS-220000 PostgreSQL error: connection to server at \"abc-mkt-stage4.chqkifxvjhq8.us-west-2.rds.amazonaws.com\" (xx.xx.xxx.xxx), port 5432 failed: FATAL:  remaining connection slots are reserved for non-replication superuser connections\

can someone let me know what this error means and how to fix this?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Mandm123,

This issue typically requires a restart of the application or Apache, as it usually indicates a job that got hung up and is preventing the closure of connections.

Please reach out to Campaign Support, as they will need to involve the Campaign Ops (Infrastructure) team.

Regards,

Craig

@mandm123 The error is coming from Database where the connections available to Campaign are exhausted. An investigation in the matter will need help from support. If this is happening regularly, you will have to check what processes/workflows are running or if there are too many API calls landing in quick succession.

You might have to rationalise the calls.
