Sending encrypted email through Adobe Campaign Classic

Hi,

I was told to set smtpEnableTLS="true" in serverConf.xml to enable sending encrypted emails. Are there any pros and cons by enabling encryption? Any impact on email open rates?

Hi,

Sending rate may be reduced due to higher cpu load (mta process is cpu-bound), no impact otherwise.
