Expiring an audience in Campaign v8

We are actively trying to manage the burgeoning number of audiences in AEP and then "downstream" in Campaign v8. I've been told to "expire" any no-longer-necessary audiences in both tools, but I'm not sure how to do this.

Yes. I needed to look in ACCv8 at the list of audiences imported from AEP in the "AEP Audiences" folder/list and set the expiration date there. Thank you to everyone for your input.

Hi @jamesgr18 ,

This depends on the business use cases. Either you can figure it out the inavtive audience by filtering the audience who doesn't have any engagement history in 2 or more years, or audience who has opted out from all channels and no longer wanted to be communicated via any channel.

Hello @jamesgr18  When data is shared from AEP to AC, the it creates a list in AC. You can set an expiry date in the list to automatically delete the data after the expiry date.

Thank you. This is the part that I had forgotten - specifically where to do this expiration. It's done via the "folder" named 'AEP Audiences' in our environment.
