delay in receiving alert email notifications

We have recently been experiencing delays in receiving alert email notifications from Adobe, such as approval pending notifications and automated alerts for file drops.We have a mid-sourcing deployment and our targeting e-mails are working fine.Would you be able to assist to help troubleshoot this ?
