Description - Resource Management - Planner feature is an extremely important feature to manage forecast and utilization of resources. In a single view, it showcases users "Expected Hours"(Scheduled hours), "Planned Hours"(Estimates) and "Actual Hours"(Timesheet hours), as well as difference which showcases remaining availability along with resource utilization percentage. We want this module to be customizable to add "User level" custom attributes in additional columns, to track the resource with different geography, skills - availability across geography as well as skills. In general, it will be a good view to have custom fields added in the view in order to represent data in varied different attributes. Why is this feature important to you - It allows us to have bifurcation by Geography, Country as well resource skills. How would you like the feature to work - Customizable to add User level custom attributes to enhance the dashboard to showcase more meaningful r
Description - Would like to be able to add a business case with pre-populated information at the template level. Why is this feature important to you - This will ladder up to Portfolio Management tools and Resource Management Budgets and could save a lot of time because often a templated tactic has very similar if not identical business case details. How would you like the feature to work - Same as associating a form to a project template or set up request queue - where you can choose details that default but once the project is created you can also customize if needed. Current Behaviour - Business case is not available in templates, only in created projects.
Description - Add Actual Hours columns to Project and Role views in Planner Why is this feature important to you - Aggregated actual hours for role and planner would make this tool much more helpful to see where we stand against plan or budget. How would you like the feature to work - Same as it does for the User view in Planner Current Behaviour - Not available in Project and Role views, only available in User View in Planner.
Description - Extend Typeahead to allow selecting tasks or issues. Why is this feature important to you - I wish to use a project and for admins to add tasks to represent options that can be selected in the typeahead. This allows for a dynamic addition of values to the custom field being maintained outside of the custom fields. These tasks/issues could then have a custom form on them that could be used in the Filter of the Typeahead. My filter would then filter to just that project and show only tasks in a specific condition. The project would be lock to a limited number of folks who could add new items and mark items wit a status. How would you like the feature to work - See description Current Behaviour - Other Objects are allowed to be used in typeaheads. This functionality would be fine.
In my project I created a custom field in a form. It is a single line text box to display in currency a potential revenue from an account. In this project the task is the account name, and subtasks are the the potential potential packages we are selling to this account. I am able to input the revenue amount on the subtask level. However, I am being asked to have the subtask revenues add up and display the sum of the overall account revenue in the revenue field on the task level. Is there a way that I can have this happen? Any help in regards to this would be much appreciated.
Hi there! Does anyone know if it is possible to combine columns but split the data into completely separate rows? Attaching a screenshot here:What we want to do is have this split into 2 completely separate rows/line items. Estimate - DEMO Pospisil Recruitment Campaign | $5000 | 1/25/23 Estimate - DEMO Pospisil Recruitment Campaign | $2000 | 2/27/23 Here's the scoop: we use Projects to track estimates. Sometimes clients approve part of the estimate in January another portion in February. We want to track how much $$ per month we win, without having to create multiple projects. So my thought was I create multiple custom fields in our custom form: Estimate Approve $______Estimate Approve Date ______ -----Estimate Approve 2 $______Estimate Approve 2 Date ______ ----- Estimate Approve 3 $______Estimate Approve 3 Date ______ Then I want to combine all the Estimate Approve $ fields into 1 column, and all the Estimate Approve Date fields into a column.
In our instance we often convert requests to tasks for completion. Requests are retained and used for customer communication. The task status and request status do not synch perfectly. I'd like to map the custom task status to the custom request status. In this example "Awaiting Feedback". Is there a way to map this relationship?
Most of our projects consist of multiple InDesign docs. (project working on right now consists of 14 separate files) Current process is to export each file separately to pdf to be able to post in workfront for proof routing. Then posting the multiple pdfs to a single job in workfront. Was hoping the plugin for IND would allow us to have one file open, then using the add files feature could post the files all at once to workfront. However the plugin only converts the open file to pdf to post, the remaining IND files do not get converted to pdf and the upload to proof fails. This feature would cut back on the time it takes to create and post proofs in workfront. Would be nice if any IND files added to the plug in tab would convert. on the fly and all would post to workfront. Current behavior noted above, opening and exporting each IND file individually to pdf then dragging and dropping into workfront to post proofs for review.
HiHow to change Capacity Hours for specific group of users? Please refer the attachment.Could you suggest in this regard? MvhKundan
Good Day, Is there a way to add image on the email body content in fusion? or how do we embed images in this area?
Do you work with outside partners in a product Licensing workflow? We have a product Licensing group in our company in Workfront with a process in place that needs tweaking and we were wondering how other groups do it. Especially while keeping the outside partners on collaborative licenses through the process! I would love to hear thoughts and ideas. I miss the old Workfront forums for specialty groups that offered a good venue for these types of discussions!
I need a report to capture the % complete of a task as of certain dates. I've done this previously by creating a calculated custom field on a task custom form using this code: IF(ISBLANK({% complete as of 9/30/22}),{percentComplete},{% complete as of 9/30/22}) This worked great, until today when I noticed that when it was being added to new tasks it was calculating the percent complete as of the day the task form was added to the task. I need to do this same scenario again so that I can capture the % complete as of today, 3/1/23. How can I modify this code so that it will get the data for today but not for a future task entered after today? Maybe I've been staring at it too long but I can't seem to figure out how to get it to not capture tasks created after today
I am having trouble using my group's custom statuses on a project on. I have followed to documentation to create the statuses and assign them to the user group and not the whole system. When I navigate back to this project and into a task, the custom statuses do not appear. Any help would be appreciated.
We have a case where we want to assign multiple custom start/end dates to a single request/issue, and then assign to different staff (e.g. staff person 1 works on this from 12/1 to 12/3, then staff person 2 works on it from 12/4 to 12/6). I realize that's not the way WF is designed to work, but it's very easy to admin this vs. creating 4 unique issues/tasks. I can do this in a report, but the work assignments don't appear on the workload balancer. Is there any way to get custom dates to show up on the workload balancer? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Howdy folks from your Adobe Workfront Scale Team! 🤠 We’re trying something new for our Strategy conversations – a follow-up post for the hot topics during the events, but instead of an email, we thought we'd test out a discussion format where we can provide updates and make it available to everyone, even if you can make an event. We know we can’t get to every question submitted during for the Connect events so at the end of each month, we will post ideas and resources to answer the trending hot topics. Interested in attending events? Check out our upcoming sessions on the Adobe Experience League Events page. We hope to see you there!
I'm trying to group an issue report on the issue entry date by week (as in, the week the issue was entered). The default way of doing this (Groupings > Issue > Entry date and group by week) is almost perfect however because in WF the starting day of the week is a Sunday by default, i'm getting the week grouping date shown in the report to be 1 day earlier than i'd like. Does anyone know of a way using text mode or otherwise to change this? Or is the easiest way to use a calculated field on the entry date and group on that?
Hello, Does anyone know if it's possible to force sort the results of a valueexpression in a report? For example, I'm creating an issue report with a column that shows the resolving project's Last Update Date. If the issue does not have a resolving project, then the issue's Last Update Date will display instead: displayname=Last Update Datetextmode=truevalueexpression=IF(ISBLANK({resolveProject}.{lastUpdateDate}),{lastUpdateDate},{resolveProject}.{lastUpdateDate})valueformat=atDate I would like to sort by this column first, then have the results sort in descending order, so I added this code to the above: sortOrder=1sortType=desc However, this completely broke the report, so I may be totally off track with this approach. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Asset Queue / Asset Queue (For Fusion) is a project that is referenced in the on-demand learning (ODLS) and required to complete the course, it is said to be provided in the Adobe provided test drive instance; however, is it missing in my test drive instance.Does anyone know where to find the Workfront project Asset Queue / Asset Queue (For Fusion)? Perhaps it was renamed. Does anyone know?
Why is this feature important to you - We would like to bulk push large amounts of hi-res images from Workfront to AEM. How would you like the feature to work - It works but we get an error "Cannot send more than 1,024 Megabytes to Experience Manager" Current Behaviour - Very clunky and restrictive because of size limitations in transfer.
Hi All, Next month we're going to be conducting a review of some of our templates to determine if they need adjustments before we start launching our 2023-release projects. I created a report that shows task Planned Duration, Actual Duration, and a calculated field showing the difference (in week days) between the Planned Start Date and Actual Completion Date. When running my report, I noticed something curious with the Actual Duration data. For example, I've got a task with a Planned Start Date of 1/20/22, a Planned Completion Date of 2/3/22, and an Actual Completion Date of 2/16/22. The Planned Duration is 10 days, and my calculated field yields 19 days. However, the Actual Duration shows 0 days. When I take a look at the task details, the Actual Start Date and Actual Completion Date show identical date/time values. Is this because the user simply marked the task complete without any additional steps? Does the user have to cli
Description - We would like a native Workfront language switcher. There is already an email language switcher in User Settings, but currently Workfront as a whole uses the browser settings. Why is this feature important to you - We have worldwide teams that would like their browser to be set in their local language, but to view Workfront in English for better collaboration. How would you like the feature to work - Same as it works here on Experience League, have a "Change Language" button/drop down at the bottom of every page that allows you to switch the language of the page regardless of browser settings. Current Behaviour - Currently Workfront uses the browser language settings and does not have separate language preferences besides the language that emails are sent with.
Description Allow proof workflow templates to be added to project templates using an FPO Proof so that the proof workflow automatically gets pulled over when you convert your request into a project. When the designer or copywriter is ready to send through the proof for review, all they need to do is to upload a new proof version and select generate proof. Why is this feature important to you Currently, the project manager has to add all the proof workflows to all the projects. This would be a huge time saver to associate the project template and proof workflow immediately once converted. How would you like the feature to work Currently, you can add proof workflows to project templates but when you convert them, the workflow is not pulled over. If they were allowed to be pulled over, you can set the FPO proof to activate proof "manually" which could be one additional step the designer could change to "on proof creation" when the proof was ready to generat
Hi, Can I integrate Workfront with Microsoft Sharepoint? I'd like to be able to pull in project status data from Workfront to Sharepoint. For example, if I have 5 projects in various stages, I'd like to pull that information to a Sharepoint site/page.
Are users able to edit copy on a word doc uploaded to SharePoint directly in the Workfront app? Curious what benefit to users this integration provides--more specifically around copywriting/copy editing that we cannot currently do in app.
Description - WF defines the issue status Resolved as: a resolution was found and carried out for the issue. WF defines the issue status Closed as: no resolution could be found, but the issue is no longer a work item and, therefore, will be closed. Some issues can be resolved immediately, some are a gradual completion, some can't be resolved. If it's immediate, it makes sense/it's quicker to use the "mark as done" button. If it takes time, one can use the "% complete" bar, thus indicating to colleagues how far along it is and that it's being worked on; once complete, one sets it to 100%. In those cases, one would think the issue is considered a Resolved issue. Current Behaviour - However, "mark as done" results in a Resolved status, and 100% complete results in a Closed status. How does "100% complete" mean not resolved? Which is essentially what WF is saying. How would you like the feature to work - "Mark as done" and "100% complete" should bot
