Can you please give the rest end point to create an issue for a project with all the required request body parameters /attask/api/v14.0/issue?
Here is the scenario: - I have "External Requesters" set up with the highest level of visibility on the master Project we use for their Requests in the Edit Project screen - I have given the Requester Access Level Setup to be able to manage Documents, the highest level allowed - I have Shared the master project that are used for requests with the Company that makes requests into that project and shared at the highest Manage level Yet, when I add a Document (not a proof) to a request, the person who made the Request cannot see the Document unless I specifically share the document with her. We have a lot of use cases where a requester asks for a document and we upload it to the Documents tab as the fulfillment of the request. This 2nd step to have to share everything AGAIN seems ridiculous. WHY? Any clever ideas what to do to fix this? I have put in a ticket to Support but didn't get any ideas on how to fix this, other than "you have to share the document every
Hey all - trying to give my Director of UI/UX automatic email notifications for conversations on tasks. I'm looking for something OTHER than tagging to enable this. Is the best way to achieve this to just assign my Director to all the tasks on a given template and ask others to leave him there as a secondary assignee on the task even if someone else is actually working on it? I would love to find a way to drive some email notifications from the template level when projects are created to automatically give him access to the 'updates' on tasks. But - i'm trying to achieve this without having to rely on someone tagging him. The emails that say 'you are now a project owner' aren't particularly helpful, so those aren't the emails i'm concerned with him getting. It's mainly for him to have the ability to jump in conversation with a developer if a task needs him to jump in. Lately, our Director has been finding out about things only when they are escalated to him and he's really wantin
What might cause the error "RuntimeError [422] name cannot be null" in Adobe Workfront Fusion?Working through the "initial-scenario-design-walkthrough" found on:https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/workfront-learn/tutorials-workfront/fusion/understand-the-basics/initial-scenario-design-walkthrough.html?lang=enall goes well and exactly as instructed; however, when I attempt to run the scenario I get the following error: Note: I have attempted deleting and re-entering/re-saving the module "Create Workfront project" a few times without luck. The field values are set exactly as suggested in the tutorial:Get project list (runs successfully) Parse project list (runs successfully): Create Workfront project (fails to run) Each time I attempt to run the scenario the same error is produced. Leveraging DEV Tools I have been able to determine that my company has a strict Content Security Policy (CSP) in place, which produces CSP related errors when selecting "Run once.
The purpose of this thread is to continue the conversation from the Virtual User Group on the topic of Measuring Success of Planned vs. Actuals on June 15, 2021. Many thanks to everyone who attended! Special thanks to @Chuck Middleton‚ for sharing details on the baseline capabilities in Workfront and Velocity reports. Be sure to check out the attached PDF with the screenshots and instructions he mentioned. And thanks to @Cliff De Jong‚ from Inland Empire Health Plan for sharing the different ways they're tackling the question of reporting on planned vs. completion at his organization. You can see more in the attached slides, and you can watch the recording here. Do you have any questions that weren’t answered in the meetup? Was there a tip that was especially helpful that you picked up in the session? Leave a comment below and we’ll keep the conversation going! Thanks again. If you have any feedback (good or bad), please don’t hesitate to reach out. You can find the schedule fo
As we try to encourage users to use the proofing function, one of the problems we have is not being able to mark "I'm done" when completing edits. Is this something that is available and I am missing it or is this a function that would be added to mark an edit as complete in the near future?
Has anyone come up with a way to chart based on a valueexpression in the grouping? Or can we put a custom form on hours yet? I want to create a custom grouping on hours for a chart, ie if Hour Type = Task Time => Task Name otherwise Hour Type. The grouping text mode is: group.1.valueexpression=IF({hourType}.{name}="Task Time", {task}.{name},{hourType}.{name}) but you can't use that in charts right?
Description - Workfront built-in date fields all include time. This has an impact for users like us who only care about the date. The time component affects comparision and localtime conversion. We need a setting that allows us to control whether the built-in fields sets the time component or not, just like custom date fields. Why is this feature important to you - The time component makes it difficult to compare if a date is <, =, > another date due to the time component. A task that should be marked as not overdue, will show as overdue if the date is the same, but the time doesn't match another date field. This is especially problematic for custom date fields that do not include time. How would you like the feature to work - We need an option, probably per project and group, where the built-in datetime fields can turn of the time component (default to midnight). That way, when comparing date fields just for the date component, there is no comparison issue due to
Hi everyone, is there a way to create a notification for project managers when there hasn't been activity on a project for a certain amount of time? Thank you!
It would be great to be able to customize our scrum board based on our group's custom statuses. Currently, the board can only leverage statuses that are default or available system wide, which essentially renders the entire custom statuses useless. Would be great to add the ability to add a column based on the Agile team's custom statuses they are using.
Hi everyone, I'm seaking advice on how to create a JSONL file using Fusion. I start with CSV file and my current flow is very simple, I get JSON for every CSV row and essentially I want to aggregate them into such a sample output: {"id":1,"name":"Johnson, Smith, and Jones Co.","amount":345.33,"Remark":"Pays on time"} {"id":2,"name":"Sam \"Mad Dog\" Smith","amount":993.44,"Remark":""} {"id":3,"name":"Barney & Company","amount":0,"Remark":"Great to work with\nand always pays with cash."} {"id":4,"name":"Johnson's Automotive","amount":2344,"Remark":""} Any advice would be appreciated. For the context I need JSONL to feed into OpenAI and train the model with our own WF data.
Hello, I'm trying to create a delivery using Javascript, but I don't know how to fill the target to send the delivery. I've tried doing this: var delivery = nms.delivery.create(); delivery.label="Delivery Test" delivery.scheduling.validationMode = "automatic" delivery.scheduling.delayed = 0 delivery.targets.deliveryTarget.serialization="'language equal to Ru'" delivery.save() But the property delivery.targets.deliveryTarget.serialization doesn't seem to be enough to populate the delivery target.
This blog series is a converted learning path that is made up of 3 sections and does not necessarily need to be reviewed in sequential order. Please use the following links to navigate to other blogs in this series. We recommend completing Section 1 and then at least one of the subsequent sections - select whichever kick-start section most closely aligns with your business objective. Overview: KPI Dashboards in the New Workfront ExperienceSection 1: Introduction to KPIsSection 2: General KPI dashboard kick-startSection 3: Marketing KPI dashboard kick-start Introduction to KPIs Value. It’s a hard thing to measure. As someone who manages work, or supports project managers and resource managers who do, you need evidence that the work your team is doing contributes meaningfully to the goals of the business. Key performance indicators, or KPIs, quantify work efforts in relation to progress toward your organization’s objectives. Adobe Workfront can help you measure
Quick Question: I have a process I'm building out for creating Issues from a CSV file. Most of it is pretty straightforward and simple...except for when it comes to multi-select fields. How would I take a list with commas, grab those fields, and have Fusion apply them for that field? This feels like it should be easier than it is...but welcome to Fusion. 😄
I need help creating a view or filter All my projects have several Parent tasks - when others filter by just there assigned tasks - they often get confused to which parent it belongs to and the other tasks under that parent Is there a way to have a filter that shows all my current tasks - their parent's task names - and any other tasks under that parent?
As of March 2, 2023, Workfront offers a new and improved way to calculate a user’s capacity using the Work Time field that will enable you to see the true availability of your global teams based on region-specific schedules. Up until now, if you wanted to adjust the amount of time a user had each day to work on project work, you had to adjust the FTE (Full Time Equivalent) value. This presented an obstacle when the User schedule was used versus the Default schedule to calculate resource availability because in this case the FTE value was ignored. Now, with the new Work Time field located in the user profile, you can adjust capacity and still have resource availability calculated using the User’s schedule. The available hours in the Resource Planner and Workload Balancer will reference the user’s schedule and reflect availability based on the Work Time value entered. The Work Time field is adjusted by entering a decimal value between 0 and 1.&
Description - Add expand/collapse option for sections in custom forms Why is this feature important to you / current behavior - We have some very long forms that can be hard to see all the information when designing or completing a form. The user must scroll a lot to view different sections of the form How would you like the feature to work - Add an expand/collapse to sections so they can be used when designing or completing a form. It would be optimal to have the option to set the default to be either expanded or collapsed depending on the user need when presenting the finished form to our customers.
Description - I would like to be able to reset an indvidual's approval back to pending without having to reset the entire approval workflow. Why is this feature important to you - We have users that approve things on accident, and it causes issues when we have to reset everyone's approval back to pending to fix it How would you like the feature to work - I would like to be able to go into the approvals and then right click on an individual's approval and see an option to reset to "Pending" Current Behaviour - have to reset the entire approval back to pending
Description - Why is this feature important to you - We constantly see user allocations 20+ hrs overallocated How would you like the feature to work - Same as the Time-Off feature. This would not allow user's work to be scheduled on any day that is already scheduled for 8 hrs. (6 hrs prefferable) Current Behaviour - Sky's the limit! Project or Program managers can schedule as many hours per day as they want.
We are looking to create an approval process where once a task status is changed, a task approval gets sent to anyone assigned to the task. I see there are other dynamic choices such as Project Owner or Project Sponsor but nothing for task assignments.
Hello, I am trying to create a report showing all Proof approvals that are still pending for a specific "Group" within our WF system. I have reports that show "Proofs *I* need to approve" and thought this would be an easy switch from $$User to Group but I can't seem to get it to work and I'm not great with the text mode. Can anyone give me a push in the right direction with possible text mode options? thanks
Description - Referring specifically to the Agile Board Project view and the Storyboards in Scrum and Kanban teams. There is no way currently to get these boards to refresh automatically. Although the sections update instantly, if you are working across a few users then constant refreshing is required. Why is this feature important to you - Our teams work collaboratively thus are using these boards every minute of everyday and refreshing it not a functional use of time and can lead to mixed messages in terms of project status'. How would you like the feature to work - Look into if there is a way for these boards to refresh actively to ensure all data is consistent across the system.
Description - Currently when in the agile view or in your teams Iterations Story board view if you have lots of tasks then this mean it would require you to scroll down. Currently the Swimlanes do not follow the user down as they scroll which can lead to confusion if the member is new or you have customised lanes. Why is this feature important to you - It would help the user in ensuring they are using the correct columns and assist with the management of larger projects How would you like the feature to work - Simply for the swimlane titles to follow as the user scrolls down. Current Behaviour - swimlane titles do not follow the user as they scroll
Description (Situation): The list of reports and dashboards are quite long in an instance shared by many groups. It makes it difficult to locate and manage reports & dashboards, especially for a system admin that sees everything. Current Behavior (Background): There currently isn’t a way to categorize reports and dashboards based on the group ownership versus the system level so they are easier to locate. The folders that are available in the reports area do not allow for a system level management to provide consistent structure to all users. Why is this feature important to you (Assessment): When managing a group it would be beneficial to easily locate the reports and dashboards for their specific use rather than scrolling a long list of reports. Even though some users do not see all reports, there can be system wide used reports or ones shared across groups that make it hard to locate their own. It is especially cumbersome for the system admin since they view all items in
