Anyone know how to make the charts from a report not download as such a small PDF?

I would like to add logic to a custom calculated field. Is that possible? 1. make a description field only appear if the trigger is met:IF(WEEKDAYDIFF($$TODAY,{DE:Requested Send Date and Time})<=1,'You have chosen a send date and time that is less than our required minimum turnaround of two business days. If this request requires expedited production, please indicate this by selecting the option below. Otherwise, please select a later send date and time.') 2: if the same trigger is met, display a radio button field. Both would appear the note about the date (above) then a radio button with: Yes, please proceed. / No, I will update the send date. Is this possible from within Workfront?  Thank you for your insight into this. =D

I was on a call recently where someone from Workfront mentioned it wasn't good practice to use Parent tasks as Predecessors.  We do this pretty regularly since often times the tasks nested under a parent all need to be completed in order for the next tasks to start. So, instead of listing every single task as the predecessor we have just done the parent task. Doing it this way will also encompass any ad-hoc tasks that might be added after the fact when the project is in progress.   Does anyone have any insight into why this might not be a good practice?   Example: Task Number Task Name Predecessor 1 Parent Task 1   2 Task A   3 Task B   4 Task C   5 Parent Task 2 1 6 Task D   7 Task E   8 Task F

Thank you to everyone who reached out! No additional volunteers are needed at this time, but if you have a topic in mind you’d like to present on in the future, send us an email! WE NEED YOUR HELP! At one point, you were a brand new Workfront Admin. And likely, you learned the hard way when you accidentally deleted a report or a custom form/field or built quick-fix processes to solve a short term problem that had to be re-done. You thought to yourself, I wish I knew some of these things when I first started... so now is your chance to pass along those lessons learned. The Workfront Scale Customer Success team will be hosting a customer panel on Tuesday, October 29 at 8am PT / 11am ET on the topic of things I wish I knew as a first time Workfront admin / things I learned too late as a new Workfront admin and we need 1-2 more customers to join, as we already have one customer secured. If you are interested in participating and sharing your experience and expertis

How would I create a report that tracks how many actions a user does?

We have a user who needs to share many projects with a team. Is there a way to do this in bulk, or must he individually share each project? I tried creating a view and a report with the "Shared With" field/column on the Project object, but the field is not editable in-line.  TIA.

I want add on to an existing report that is working nicely for me. In the text mode for filters, I want to add a statement to only show projects where production required = yes.  I'm having issues with this DE syntax. I can't add AND to it or replace it with AND which is what I feel like needs to happen for this to work.  Here is the current syntax: The way the above report is constructed, it shows all projects/assignments, it IS NOT filtering out for projects that only require production.

Hello Adobe Workfront Community,   It’s been a while since our last update, and I appreciate your patience as we worked on this behind-the-scenes. I wanted to share with you all the next steps for the Adobe Workfront Ideas Space.   In my initial announcement, I highlighted our dedication to the Legacy Review Process, a collaboration with the Workfront Product Management team aimed at responding to top ideas from the past few years. Earlier this year, the Product Team successfully completed the Legacy Review Process. A total of ~100 ideas across the 10 core Workfront product areas have been reviewed and their statuses have been updated (please refer to the original announcement for the 10 core areas).   We have made sure to tag the original idea publisher so they are notified of our responses. To see which ideas have been responded to, please filter by the available statuses located at the top right of the ideas board (Investigating, Declined, Delivered, etc.).   Loo

The header menus in Workfront are so incredibly large that they leave very little available workspace for me. This is not an issue when I am at the office and have my full-size monitor available, but it becomes incredibly cumbersome when I'm traveling and using my laptop only.  I've attached a screenshot of my total available workspace while using my laptop (identifying names have been erased to protect the innocent). If the last note was longer, I have to scroll quite a way. Is there a way to reduce the headers above the row headers stating "Name, Start On, Due On..." etc.?  Thanks in advance!

I need to be able to use custom icon images to represent statuses in reports. I found a solution from back in 2016, but that solution no longer appears to work. Is there a way to do this that works with the URLs that are currently available when an image is stored in Workfront? The method that I have tried so far, I found here https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/workfront-questions/adding-custom-icon-in-report-view/m-p/502059#M33809

How do you assign group ownership to a custom form?  I thought it was through form sharing.    My company is having issue with group admins not having the proper access to specific custom forms that their group owns when the form author leaves the company.

Hi! I recently made change to a report using advanced settings, but that change stops me from being able to edit the field I updated in the report. For more detail, I had a program report with about 10 different columns of data. In one of the columns, I used advanced settings to set up an "if-then" statement that adds the text "Not Needed" to one of the columns if certain criteria are met. This feature was great! but then we realized we could not edit and fields in the column where I added the "if-then" statement even if there was no "not needed" text in there. Does anyone know if there is a way to use advanced reporting and still be able to edit fields withing a report?  Also, for context we could edit the field before I applied the advanced setting. Thank you!

I would like to display a icon in a project report column. A different icon based on a specifically named project task {status} value. Below is what I have to display the current status as a string (CPL, INP, NEW, NTA)   displayname=Task Status Namelistdelimiter=<div>listmethod=nested(tasks).liststextmode=truetype=iteratevalueexpression=IF(CONTAINS("Specific Task Name Part",{name}), {status} )valueformat=HTML     The documentation for text-mode links around in circles and is not clear on how to proceed from this point. I would like to display different icons for each of the different status values. CPL = /interface/images/v4_redux/icons/casebuilder/flag_green.gif INP = /interface/images/v4_redux/icons/casebuilder/light_yellow.gif NEW = /interface/images/v4_redux/icons/casebuilder/light_blue.gif NTA = /interface/images/v4_redux/icons/casebuilder/light_black.gif     I've been struggling with how to achieve this for a while now. Any help is appreci

I am looking to show an arrow icon on a report when a certain answer is chosen in a custom field. In the Advanced Options, there are only smiley face, flag, or colored circles options. Does anyone know if its possible to put a custom icon in (i assume in text mode) and how it can be done? Thanks!

Sometimes during a day Workfront decides to log me out. This morning, I hadn't been online for even an hour when I found I had to log back into my tabs. Normally, I can stay logged in all day, but in the last couple weeks I'll occasionally find it's logged me out.

We're working on a new process for users to submit requests. All users will be set up under the same Company in Workfront. Is there a good way to limit the request visibility to only My Requests instead of All?  I know we can't disable the all filter under requests.  So I was hoping there's another setting that I'm missing that would allow them only to see their requests and not those submitted by another person within this company.  I have set up a group set up for this subset of users and the request queue is shared with the group.
