Jira Cloud Create a record Module

I'm creating a Workfront to Jira scenario using the Jira Cloud Create a record Module.  It keeps erroring on the "reporter" field of t he module.  I have tried mapping it to both the Sponsor name and the email address of the sponsor but when I run the scenario I get an error:
[400] Specify a valid value for reporter

Does anyone know what could be wrong?  In Jira the reporter is a character name.

Thanks in advance

I think you need to map it to the JIRA ID of the desired person, ie, first do a lookup by email, then use that ID.

Thank you @sven-ix  for the quick reply.  That was it!

I had the same issue and solved it by switching the data structure to use collection mapping and setting custom field values directly in the "fields" array as key-value pairs.
