I would like to take a folder with an asset in frame.io and copy it over to a project in workfront. I have established a connection in frame.io and have a project, folder, and asset all ready to go. How would i go about doing this?

Hi @amazingjameso

Before you start building something in Fusion, what use case to copy the assets from Frame.io to Workfront.

There is an integration between Frame.io and Workfront which connections both systems using the

https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/workfront/using/review-and-approve-work/native-integrations/frame-int-overview The base idea is not to copy any data between both systems and use the Adobe Enterprise Storage.

If the solution on top doesn’t work for you, than you can use to copy the files. I assume that you are on Frame.io V4, then you use the predefined app using your user credentials or create an app in Adobe Developer Console developer.adobe.com to get access to Frame.io. https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/workfront-fusion/using/references/apps-and-their-modules/adobe-connectors/frame-io-modules-new If not, I would upgrade to V4 first as the integration method differs to V3.

Here is the scenario how to watch files in Frame.io, download them and upload them to a Workfront Project. You have to get download url via the Get an asset of the Frame.io module

Hi Patrick! i wok at JP Morgan Chase. I just recvd access to frame.IO. My scenario looks similar i established a connection to frame successfully, i created a test project, folder and uploaded an image. I used the list assets module to get the details, and used the metadata module to get that info. I am reading on the Experience League document section on integrating frame and WF via custom api modules. I did see the get asset module but didnt know if it was used to help in downloading the asset, but as I am reading i’ll use that module. As far as the Adobe enterprise Storage we havent used that before so i’ll have to see if i have access to it. Hopefully I do if i have WF and Frame.io access. Im a developer here creating automation for our stakeholders within the org.  Disregard the first module i used. i just needed and learned how to create a connection to our instance first, then i’ll delv into the other modules to see what makes this thing tick, lol. I’m super excited to learn and create automation for our marketers between frame and WF.
