Adobe Workfront Fusion

I am trying to attach custom form to a document. Please help!      

Hello community, The question: Is there a way to split a large file into smaller chunks via Fusion? The reason:What I'm trying to achieve is to upload a file into Dropbox via Fusion's HTTP connection.Dropbox's API has an endpoint "/upload" which suits for file under 150MB.For larger file (as it is in my case) they suggest to use combination of 3 endpoints:   /upload_session/start /upload_session/append /upload_session/finish To use those I need to split the file into chunks, but this seems impossible so far. What I have tried so far:I've tried to use "Repeater" module which repeats as much times as the result of file size divided by the  required chunk size. Then I've used substring()  to get the binary file data splatted into chunks depending the Repeater's value. Something like this: Unfortunately the result seems to be correct only for the first chunk: Any ideas how to get this work? Or any other approaches?

Hi again, As usual, I have a question on something which feels like it should be easy...but then it isn't. 😄 I have an ask from a user where she wants Fusion to create a folder, remove inherited permissions, and set access to the folder to a particular team.  Currently, I have Fusion adjust permissions for Projects and Issues. This doesn't seem to follow the same pattern wherein you can make a Custom API call and set accessorID, accessorObjCode, and coreActions. I tried that and Fusion didn't like it.  Why isn't this templated? The folders in question are linked to SharePoint in order to store Word docs. We already do this; the only difference here is that we want this particular folder to only be visible to the people who need to add and access files in it.  Sharing permissions on folders is relatively "new," so I'm unsure if they are managed differently than other objects inside of Workfront.  Any help would be amazing. I'm trying to work out how to get a Fusion workflow to add an update/note/comment to a request (issue) but I seem to be missing the obvious as I can't work it out. All I want to do is post "this action was performed by Fusion automation" so it's clear that it wasn't done manually.  I've seen suggestions that this could be done through either an "create record" module or a custom API post but I've not had any success in doing this. Which field should I be using and which module is best suited for this?

This should be an easy one. I am either missing something obvious or this isn't possible. I have a scenario that is searching for new requests/issues from a certain queue and converting them to a new project when they submit the request. When this runs, it pulls over the converted issue data (entered by, entry date, etc...), but then it deletes the converted issue. I am using a WF Misc Action card with an action of "convertToProject" and I have "Has Resolvables" checked. I can't think of another way to do this. Is there an option I am missing to keep the issue and tie it to the resolving object?

How can we modify the email body for notifications going out of Workfront using workfront Fusion?Can it be done?If yes.How can we do it?

Hi - I'm trying to set up and use a connection to Googlesheets to enable a few automation use cases. However, although I have a connection set up which will verify and re-authorise successfully in Connections, it won't seem to pull through or update any data when used in a module (instead offering up the Failed to load data!" error ref'd in the title). Not sure of the cause here. Could it be inadequate permissions for read/write granted to the connector? I believe we followed the set up guide such that it should have the requisite permissions (in connections it shows acquired permissions as view user's email address, google api spreadsheets, Access to Google Drive, openid). Or are there other common/known causes of this error and known fixes I could explore? Any help gratefully received!

Is it possible to query for one or another queueTopic in a Event Trigger WebHook? I know there is no or statement in the filter drop down but on the filter line after the "equals" statement, you can insert an "or" between the 2 queueTopic IDs. Has anyone had any success getting this to work? We are looking for this function in the WebHook filter and not in the filter after the WebHook module. Thanks

Hi Fusion Community, This request is likely beyond my skillset; however, I thought I'd post it in case anyone has ideas. We currently face a limitation around being able to allow users to import projects via Excel files.  We thought maybe we can leverage Fusion to automate this process.  For example:User drops Excel file in X locationFusion watches this location and grabs the new fileFusion scenario then uses this file to initiate the KickStart import processYes, folks can send these requests to our WF Admin team to then import using KickStart, but we're trying to remove the bottleneck around this, and make it simple for users to import projects via Excel files. Any ideas or an elaboration on what might be required for the above option would be appreciated.Thanks,Nick 

Has anyone integrated Workfront with Aprimo DAM? We are working on sending final assets to Aprimo via their Aprimo DAM API and I was curious if anyone else has created an integration between Aprimo DAM and Workfront.  Thank you,Cristina

Hello!I am attempting my first scenario and can't quite seem to get it working, so I am seeking input on how to go about this.Here is the goal:A User submits a request.There is a custom form on the request that the user will make updates to as the Project progresses.The custom form is also on the resolving Project.The goal is to have the automation detect when updates are made on the Request custom form and make those updates on the Resolving Project's matching custom form so the Project Coordinator does not have to manually make the updates on these projects.The scenario will need to monitor all the active requests in a specific request queue and move the updates from each request to the corresponding resolving project.I had a very simple scenario built to start but it only works 1:1. one request to one project, once I began adding in other requests to the test queue thing went off the rails. thank you for any pointers or examples or anything!  ****UPDATE****I currently

I'm new to creating scenarios and was wondering if I were to create a dropdown field called "Portfolio" on a custom form for requests, is there a way to link that field directly to the Portfolio list in the system through Fusion? I'm trying to avoid having to update the custom field every time we create a new Portfolio.  

Hey hey... I am trying to build a scenario where an owner is sent an email alerting them that the task dates have changed due to a time off entry. We can see the system alert when the time is already entered, but if a task is already planned and an entry is made, sometimes the date shift goes unnoticed. Scenario setup:I am watching updated tasks to see if the new state dates match the old state dates. If they do not, it passes. From there I am grabbing more task data, owner and assignee data. I then have a filter to see if the assignee's time off entries are within the range of the task start and end dates. This only seems to kind of work. I still get some tasks that pull through even though the dates have not been modified or the same tasks flow through multiple times. I may be overcomplicating this one. Anybody have a good solution to alert the project owner when a task date was changed by someone other than owner?? It seems like there should be an out of box notification for th

Is there an easy way to remove a custom form from a Project?There doesn't seem to be a MISC action to do this.  The only way I can find to do this is to do a PUT on the PROJ object and basically pass in the existing objectCategories collection (minus) the object ID of the custom form that I want to remove.  There's got to be a better way, right?

Hello, I have a Fusion scenario that is initialised with a webhook from a webpage.The webhook makes a GET API request and brings back various information (in this case information about emails created within Oracle Eloqua.)I have a final module "Transform to JSON" as a final step that outputs JSON data.What I want to know is if there is a way to feed this data back into a webage?If I were to write JS code for this I would want to make the innerHTML of a specified div this JSON output.  Can't see a way to do this in Fusion though.Any help is appreciated.Thanks JSON data output at the end of my scenario I want the output to be dumped onto the page in the div shown (or into the console or basically accessible from anywhere on the page) 

So, like many of you, I find myself as a second/third career Workfront admin. I worked in magazine publishing until I was let go due to magazine publishing dying. My introduction to Workfront was a "happy accident"--one which has been literally life-changing. Learning Fusion has been rewarding and a lot of fun. There's still quite a bit I feel I need to learn (Hi training folks, Fusion Bootcamp Part 2 pls). But a least I can think through a problem and come up with a solution. My job primarily revolves around Fusion and developing automated augmentations for workflows within Workfront. We're also starting to want to do more integrative work. And this is where I find a hole in my knowledge. When it comes API stuff though (and how it relates to Fusion)...I need help.  I'd love some suggestions--particularly from other second-career Fusion admins--for courses/websites/etc. which may be helpful with this stuff. Hi Everyone! We are working on a scenario that will show us issues that were submitted with a custom form field that has a length greater or less than 8 and/or contain letters. We have the first part done, but we can't find a way to find ones that contain letters. We thought of implementing a regular expression to find them but we can't find a module that allows that.Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated

Is the "Other Groups" in a user profile the same as "User Groups" obtained in the search module below? The image below shows my account info like name, home group ID, and user groups. Initially, I assumed these were group IDs, but upon cross-checking the IDs in the setup >> groups section, I couldn't find any of them. They are invalid group IDs. Am I missing something?
