Adobe Workfront Fusion

Is there a way in a task report to include a specific task and planned completion date? In my example I have a report for all Late task. For the Late task I can pull in the Next task, see below. But I’d also like to pull in our Delivery task name and planned completion date for the project. Has anyone successfully used Fusion to update proof approvals?   Our specific use case: Once a Project is marked complete, remove or close out any pending proof approvals on the proofs loaded to the Project.    I'm searching through documentation on what actions to use to update an approval and it doesn't appear there are any that will update the proof decisions. I've got the mapping down to get me all the information I need and the last step would be to update the proof approval to "Not relevant" or even change the users role to just reviewer instead of reviewer and approver.   Any suggestions on which action to pick to get it to update?              

Workfront have rolled out an update to how comments are displayed (now they are centrally aligned). There is still a toggle switch to take it back to the old view but I assume soon enough this will become unavailable. We send automated messages to our projects via Fusion. The new updates to the message stream recently rolled out by WF strips out any implicit HTML, so rather than our messages being nicely formatted in paragraphs, bullet lists, etc., they are all squashed together in one gigantic string. I updated the modules in Fusion with additional HTML and this seems to fix the problem when the messages are viewed in WF in the updated version. However, if you toggle the switch back to the old version, now you see all the additional HTML eg <br /><ul><li>...This additional HTML is also shown in the corresponding email notifications sent about the message so the email notifications look terrible! I am using a Compose a String module first and then putti

Still new at Fusion (How long can I say that?) I'm trying to create a Parent task with Child Tasks from a request. I am able to create the tasks as I would like I just can figure out how roll the Child Tasks up to a Parent Task.Has anyone done this? Any suggestions would be so helpful. Thank you,Dawnmarie  

It looks like we're going to be heading down the Fusion path....so before I get this party started....how are you documenting your scenarios, etc? I've read some pain points around this.... Bonus Question - what was your most exciting/effective scenario you built?

I'm working through catching up on documentation to support some of Fusion scenarios.  Has anyone found a better way to do this than taking screenshots and putting it into some form of document/slide/etc?   We've exported the blueprint and have notes on the scenario, and I'm looking for "system documentation" that can be used to document the automated processes and calculations that aren't visible to users/auditors.  I found this suggestion from 2 years ago, but nothing more current.   Thanks for the tips! Hello!Is it possible to execute bundles in parallel? I have a scenario with long lasting step, it would be nice if it was possible to make it parallel in order to save processing time.Alternatively, some module forcing "processing all bundles till this point" could do the trick.

I have successfully created a couple of scenarios that work when converting an issue to project. I have copied the scenarios and update all the info they do convert but they do not keep the Project Details. I can't seem to find what I am missing.

I know we can leverage the workload balancer for similar details, but I was hoping to accomplish this view within a specific report. Hello, In the course of formulating this problem, I keep thinking that this should not be a challenge after all. Unfortunately, I've been trying around here for ages without success. I do have a Data store containing multiple rows of contacs with multiple columns like name, category, email, ... Now I want to fetch all email addresses of the people who have a specificcategory.So I added a Data store module using the filter category = xy to get those contacts. Afterwards I want to just process the email addresses of those contacts to insert them into an array field in WF. But unfortunately I have no clue to do so. I tried around with array aggregators, text aggregators and so on. Perhaps someone could help me to get back on the correct track. Thanks in advance. RegardsLars

Hello community, The question: Is there a way to split a large file into smaller chunks via Fusion? The reason:What I'm trying to achieve is to upload a file into Dropbox via Fusion's HTTP connection.Dropbox's API has an endpoint "/upload" which suits for file under 150MB.For larger file (as it is in my case) they suggest to use combination of 3 endpoints:   /upload_session/start /upload_session/append /upload_session/finish To use those I need to split the file into chunks, but this seems impossible so far. What I have tried so far:I've tried to use "Repeater" module which repeats as much times as the result of file size divided by the  required chunk size. Then I've used substring()  to get the binary file data splatted into chunks depending the Repeater's value. Something like this: Unfortunately the result seems to be correct only for the first chunk: Any ideas how to get this work? Or any other approaches?

Hi again, As usual, I have a question on something which feels like it should be easy...but then it isn't. 😄 I have an ask from a user where she wants Fusion to create a folder, remove inherited permissions, and set access to the folder to a particular team.  Currently, I have Fusion adjust permissions for Projects and Issues. This doesn't seem to follow the same pattern wherein you can make a Custom API call and set accessorID, accessorObjCode, and coreActions. I tried that and Fusion didn't like it.  Why isn't this templated? The folders in question are linked to SharePoint in order to store Word docs. We already do this; the only difference here is that we want this particular folder to only be visible to the people who need to add and access files in it.  Sharing permissions on folders is relatively "new," so I'm unsure if they are managed differently than other objects inside of Workfront.  Any help would be amazing. I'm trying to work out how to get a Fusion workflow to add an update/note/comment to a request (issue) but I seem to be missing the obvious as I can't work it out. All I want to do is post "this action was performed by Fusion automation" so it's clear that it wasn't done manually.  I've seen suggestions that this could be done through either an "create record" module or a custom API post but I've not had any success in doing this. Which field should I be using and which module is best suited for this?

This should be an easy one. I am either missing something obvious or this isn't possible. I have a scenario that is searching for new requests/issues from a certain queue and converting them to a new project when they submit the request. When this runs, it pulls over the converted issue data (entered by, entry date, etc...), but then it deletes the converted issue. I am using a WF Misc Action card with an action of "convertToProject" and I have "Has Resolvables" checked. I can't think of another way to do this. Is there an option I am missing to keep the issue and tie it to the resolving object?

Hi - I'm trying to set up and use a connection to Googlesheets to enable a few automation use cases. However, although I have a connection set up which will verify and re-authorise successfully in Connections, it won't seem to pull through or update any data when used in a module (instead offering up the Failed to load data!" error ref'd in the title). Not sure of the cause here. Could it be inadequate permissions for read/write granted to the connector? I believe we followed the set up guide such that it should have the requisite permissions (in connections it shows acquired permissions as view user's email address, google api spreadsheets, Access to Google Drive, openid). Or are there other common/known causes of this error and known fixes I could explore? Any help gratefully received!

Is it possible to query for one or another queueTopic in a Event Trigger WebHook? I know there is no or statement in the filter drop down but on the filter line after the "equals" statement, you can insert an "or" between the 2 queueTopic IDs. Has anyone had any success getting this to work? We are looking for this function in the WebHook filter and not in the filter after the WebHook module. Thanks

Hi Fusion Community, This request is likely beyond my skillset; however, I thought I'd post it in case anyone has ideas. We currently face a limitation around being able to allow users to import projects via Excel files.  We thought maybe we can leverage Fusion to automate this process.  For example:User drops Excel file in X locationFusion watches this location and grabs the new fileFusion scenario then uses this file to initiate the KickStart import processYes, folks can send these requests to our WF Admin team to then import using KickStart, but we're trying to remove the bottleneck around this, and make it simple for users to import projects via Excel files. Any ideas or an elaboration on what might be required for the above option would be appreciated.Thanks,Nick

Hello!I am attempting my first scenario and can't quite seem to get it working, so I am seeking input on how to go about this.Here is the goal:A User submits a request.There is a custom form on the request that the user will make updates to as the Project progresses.The custom form is also on the resolving Project.The goal is to have the automation detect when updates are made on the Request custom form and make those updates on the Resolving Project's matching custom form so the Project Coordinator does not have to manually make the updates on these projects.The scenario will need to monitor all the active requests in a specific request queue and move the updates from each request to the corresponding resolving project.I had a very simple scenario built to start but it only works 1:1. one request to one project, once I began adding in other requests to the test queue thing went off the rails. thank you for any pointers or examples or anything!  ****UPDATE****I currently
