Bulk change of share permissions on programs and portfolios using fusion

I am in the process of specifying which Groups have view permissions to their relevant portfolios and programs. We’ve been working in an ‘everyone has access to view’ model. Now that there is more structure being built, I’d like to pull back and only allow view access to programs and portfolios that are assigned to each user(s) assigned group(s). I am new to fusion and went down a dark and frustrating rabbit hole. Does anyone have a starting point for me?

Probably it would be the best to remove access that your users have and than grant accesses via groups so it work as intended. Hopefully this helps and i have understood the question correctly.
