Workfront - Sandbox Reports won't send

I’m working on updates to Workfront custom form in our Sandbox 1 environment. I also set up a report based on test projects completed using that form, but when I try to send the generated report to anyone, it won’t send. Can I NOT send a report in the Sandbox environment?

    In Workfront Sandbox this is expected behavior – report emails are not sent like in Production.

    • In Preview Sandbox, report delivery emails are always disabled and cannot be turned on. You can schedule a report, but at best it will generate a file (e.g. in your Documents), not send you an email.
    • In Custom Refresh Sandbox, even there emails only work if the user has "Receive emails from this test environment" enabled, and external users never receive sandbox reports. So: you cannot rely on sandbox for emailing reports; only

    So: you cannot rely on sandbox for emailing reports; only Production can truly send them via email.     They will receive the notification when they login, but they will not get notified via email in the sandbox environment.

    Hmm...I need to see the report as an Excel file so I can test something based on the data in the report. If I can’t send to myself, I can’t fully test.
