Workfront Reporting Enhancements

Hi! We are exploring exporting Workfront data through Snowflake and into PowerBI. It pains me what we have to do this. I would love there to be more functionality with Workfront reporting, especially to show trends over years. I find PowerBI not overly intuitive either. Will more reporting functionality exist within Workfront? How else are people creatively showing data?

    Honestly, we eventually accepted that WF’s native reporting tools wouldn’t ever really compete with the power of a BI platform like PowerBI/Tableau, and opted in to the Data Connect product. Having the full functionality of a direct Snowflake connection to remodel our data to fit us precisely and blend with other data sources is worth the initial build effort.

     

    There’s a few basic features I wish the native chart tools would be enhanced with (sort largest to smallest, show top X records etc), but otherwise I think they’d be fighting to catch-up on a race they already lost on this one.

      Agree with this, some of my clients also wanted stuff that is simply possible in “true” reporting tools such as Power BI or Looker Studio. However, there is a Canvas Dashboard that is currently in beta. Did you explore that perhaps? Maybe that can help a bit? 😌
