I accidently made a field Primary in the Planning but now cannot delete or modify.  How do you unfreeze this primary field in Planning?

Hi @sineadwhelan , you can’t directly delete or modify the current Primary field in Workfront Planning until another eligible field is set as the primary.

Once you assign a different field as the primary field, the previous one will automatically become editable again and can then be modified or removed.

So first, choose another field and set it as the Primary field and after that, the original primary field will no longer be locked and you’ll be able to delete or edit it as needed.

Hi @sineadwhelan, can you show us the specific error message you get?

Did you create a global record type? I’m sharing some documentation in the meantime on how to delete records from Workfront Planning: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/workfront/using/adobe-workfront-planning/adobe-workfront-planning-architecture/delete-record-types
