Workfront: How to Set Reminder for Update section

Hi team,

I'm using Workfront for all my work. If any stakeholders mention a certain date in Workfront to follow up on, is there a way to set a reminder in Workfront to track that?

Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

Regards,

Vino

Hi there, no, you cannot natively set a reminder notification based on copy in an Update/comment. Perhaps through Fusion, but not natively.

The only way I can think of with Fusion might be to set a scenario to auto-create a task in a particular project with the planned completion date mentioned in the update. I'm honestly not sure I'd be willing to try it myself though, it would be a LOT to create it.

Alternatively, you might try a Note report that looks for certain dates in the Note Text field. It would take some fiddling to refine, but at least you could see a summary of things mentioning a particular date.

I think it might be simpler than this. I'm pretty sure someone figured out a report to show "comments I liked". So in theory if you see a date in a comment, just like it, and then review your likes report.
