I am saying lot of UI changes, the placement of options as tabs, in Workfront.

I am able to see one screen and my colleague is seeing different screen(Edit Dashboard). Not sure, why is this happening?

Hi,

You can find all of the details of upcoming and previous Workfront product releases here.

It's unlikley however, that a recent release would cause differences in UI between you and your colleague. This is more likely to be a difference in UI settings between you both (either a user specific setting has been applied such as a custom tab, or a difference in the layout templates assigned to your profiles (you can read more on this here)).

Best Regards,

Rich.

Hi @srinija_n,

While I concur with @richard_le_, I believe I have also seen what you are observing, which I noticed two weeks ago and have subsequently deduced a workaround, as follows.

When you click Dashboard > Actions > Edit, sometimes,(eg in my experience, ~25% of the time, but then it "sticks"; Chrome for sure; FireFox less certain but recall trying and confirming prior to workaround) instead of presenting the expected editor Workfront displays a jarring, unusefull, malformed shadow box that looks like some incomplete attempt from 5 years ago, stylistically. I might  add an example later if the opportunity arises.

The easy workaround I now invoke (automatically, as I am so used to it) is to edit the end url of the malformed page by backspacing to the / then typing in "edit" so the url ends in .../edit, then hitting enter to get to that expected page.

Works like a charm, every time.

Regards,

Doug

Well, that was easy: first try.

To illustrate the aforementioned Dashboard Actions > Edit behavior, here is an example of The Malformed Shadow Box, and The Workaround.
