Using Enterprise Identify Platform (ie: Okta. etc.) for External Workfront Users

For managing external users in Workfront (and AEM Assets as well), has anyone used an Enterprise identity platform (Okta Ping, Duo, AD, etc, etc) with Adobe IMS/Admin Console? What was the user experience like that you and your IT team setup?

We use Okta internally but external users are not authenticated through it.  Adobe Admin console is set up so that it will allow Adobe IDs for external users.  You have to add them to the system and provision them for the products.
