Timeline view of project like MS project

We are working on a custom replica of the MS Project timeline via the API. The MS Project timeline view is amazingly useful and would be a fantastic addition to Workfront.

We've dumped MS project because it does not have the collaborative aspect of assigning and working together on a same platform. It is not living as Workfront platform offers living project planification and tracking.

The drawback is that the pure gantt chart ease of use, is not fully integrated in Workfront. MS project is the reference for easy planning. I suggest that Workfront review the ease of use of MS project gantt chart functionalities

Ability to export the milestones on the timeline into Visio would also be helpful.

We fully understand the value this feature would bring in helping visualise the overall timeline and milestones of a project. Currently we have many valuable items in our backlog and will be reviewing and researching this one to consider in the context of our roadmap prioritization. At this time we anticipate that the target range for a resolution would be beyond 12 months, so I will be marking this as Not Planned for now. But we will look forward to following up with our findings and updates on progress as we assess the appropriate prioritization and timeline for this effort. We will ensure that as changes occur to either our approach or timeline on this issue that we will provide updates here accordingly.

Thank you for the submission! We think this is a good enhancement to the Workfront platform overall and this product area in particular!

Workfront currently prioritizes large-scale, foundational enhancements such as the new Reporting experience and changes to the core data model, so this item does not fit in our near-term roadmap. As such, I am marking this as Declined now, but we'll keep this in our backlog for the improvements for this area so that we can revisit the decision in the future.

We have the same need, would love to see this feature in some form.
