There is no item number 1 in my agile team backlog.

Pretty simple question here. Our backlog for an agile team doesnt have a '1' item in the priority list. It starts at '2' and I can't find any articles on what might be causing this behavior. Its not a huge deal thats impeding work as we have our backlog in the appropriate order. Anyone experience this and have feedback on how they fixed it?
