Task Start Date defaults to project start date when adding from Dynamic Board

Hi everyone,

We are currently having an issue with our dynamic boards where when we add a card from the board view, it defaults the date to the project start date. It will default it even if we have the date correct when we input the card - when we refresh it refreshes the date to the project start date. Obviously this is an issue. 

Has any one had a similar issue? If so, how did you fix it?

I tested on a Dynamic Board, and I noticed that if I selected the due date PRIOR to connecting the card it would basically reset the due date. 

When I did it in reverse, connected the card and then set the date it stayed.

 

I don’t use boards, so not sure on the intended functionality there, but it could be a bug? I also noticed that when connecting the date field changed from “due date” to “planned completion date”.
