Summary Tab in Reports sort the same as Details

I have a report that I have sorted by in the details tab by actual completion date (month) but sorted Z to A so that we can see the last month first, but the Summary tab is where other high levels look it sorts A to Z with January being the first month and they want to see the last month that has passed like the Details tab. Does anyone know how that can be changed or if it is possible?
