Stage-specific deadline not visible in Workfront reports

A user is unable to see the deadline in the report. I have raised this ticket multiple times, but the issue still persists.

Upon checking, I found that this is related to how the stage deadlines are configured. For example, if there are two stages and the user is a reviewer only in Stage 1 (with no involvement in Stage 2), Adobe Workfront appears to consider only the overall (final) deadline rather than the stage-specific deadline. As a result, the relevant deadline is not visible to the user in the report.

Could you please confirm:

Is there an option to display stage-specific deadlines for users based on their assigned stage within reports?
If not, is there any recommended workaround to achieve this?

Looking forward to your guidance on this.

I’ve run into an issue with proof deadlines showing up in reports. In our workflow, the person creating the proof is not the same as the person attaching the proof approval. This causes the proof to default to the "Workfront" stage without a deadline, so the proof deadline field remains blank.

I also checked via Fusion and the API, and the deadline appears blank there as well. From what I can see, deadlines are specific to the proof itself and are not tied to the stage. There does not appear to be any API field that tracks stage deadlines.

How the proof deadline field works:

    • Displays the deadline of the proof.
    • Requires every stage to have a deadline assigned for the field to populate.
    • Shows the deadline for the most recently activated stage.

Depending on your needs, you could create calculated fields to manage this. For example, if the approval is attached on the same day the proof is created, you could calculate a deadline by adding a set number of days for specific users.
