Routing Excel through Proof

We have a need to route large excel documents through proof for approval however when we convert the document to a proof it cuts it into several smaller pages. This makes it incredibly hard to review. We have tried saving the document in different sizes, margin widths, views, etc. Thanks in advance!

Proof generates using the same printer view that you see in excel when you go to print something. So what you get when you hit the print button, is what you would get as a generated proof.

This is usually controlled with your "print area" dropdown button (set print area, clear print area) and your Scaling section in your Page Setup (both of these in Excel). If you're getting different things in a physical print than you are in Proof, I would probably ask the helpdesk why that would be.

Hi,

Wondering if anyone has an update for this?

We've tried setting the right print area and using that, it still doesn't seem to be working. We have raised a support ticket as well.

But, is there any other workaround known to anyone?

It doesn't feel like a very viable option to keep changing the print area for every sheet on a workbook, for each excel.

That'll take up a lot of valuable time for people, and become quickly cumbersome.

And it makes the versatility of excel moot.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks
