Rich Text Formatting in Reports

We have a use case to aggregate formatted project updates into a report that we deliver to stakeholders. Unfortunately, while we can format the updates, the formatting gets lost once in the report, rendering them less than readable. We'd like to be able to format (or retain formatting) in reports.
