Reports or views: Column Width adjustments

A suggestion from a user:

 

Width adjustments in text mode do not work as wished

 

It would be great if we the option of defining fixed column width that can be applied to all Views where those columns appear, and also scaled to a different monitor sizes (for example, laptop and desktop) without losing their predefined width.

    Hell, did you find a way to adjust the report column width already?

    Add this code below your text mode, just change the number as you wish:

    usewidths=true

    width=300

    Sometimes works and sometimes don´t, it is not consistent. Maybe it is a bug, I just open a ticket

    I saw in another post the suggestion to clear cache & cookies if the column widths weren't working properly, and it worked for me.

    Manually adjusting widths in text mode does not appear to apply when the view is added to a dashboard.  Has anyone else experienced this and is there a resolution to this issue?

    I would really love Workfront to address the reporting and column widths issue.  

    I agree on the dashboard it won't retain the width settings and when you print the dashboard it lops off everything to the right side of the report.

     

    How may pixels for the width of a page (assume 8x11 page) ?
