Reporting on file revisions in Workfront

Hi,

Can someone tell me the best way to track file revisions in Workfront so that at the end of the year we can report on how many revisions were made to each file in each job, and most importantly, who requested those revisions?

Thanks!

I toyed with it a bit but didn't find an efficient and useful solution. I would also love to be able to report on who is initiating the most revisions.

When you lose revenue on multiple revisions, it would be great to know where the communication breakdown is happening. Is it the client can't make up their mind? Is it the Art Director noodling too much? Is it Client services not communicating what the client wants? Is it the Creatives not understanding what the client wants? Is it the Legal Dept being too restrictive? Is it FDA or Regulatory?

You can easily report on Document Versions and which ones have the most versions, but not on who requested revisions to those versions. You can report on Proof Approvals but cannot easily see documents with the most versions that need some investigation. Somehow marrying those two report types might prove useful.

I would love to see something like:

Proof A, Rev 0 revisions request by: User1

Proof A, Rev 1 revisions request by: User2

Proof A, Rev 2 revisions request by: User1

We use a document report and have a column which shows document version
