Report showing tasks expected to be in progress by week

I would like to create a task report grouped by week showing all tasks that should be in progress that week. 

It should include tasks with planned start dates that fall before the grouping week and planned completion tasks that fall after the grouping week. Many tasks should appear multiple times if they span multiple weeks. 

It seems like it should be possible. Has anyone done that before?

in a task report, any task will only be able to appear one time. You could set up a number of reports to accommodate this need, e.g. reports on:

 

* tasks that should be in progress this week

* tasks that should be in progress this week+1 (i.e. next week)

* tasks that should be in progress this week+2

* tasks that should be in progress this week+3

 

and then arrange them in a dashboard.

    Thanks for the suggestion. That works. 

     

    In case anyone else needs additional reporting help, I filtered the first report in the dashboard by planned start date less than or equal to $$TODAYew and planned completion date greater than or equal to $$TODAYbw. 

    In the additional reports I added days, $$TODAYew+7d.
