Hello,

 

Can you please confirm whether it is possible to rename the default “Status” field label at the Project and Task levels?

Yes, you can change the label name of a default status.  As example, we changed Current to be Active as that is how we referred to projects in our environment.  You need to be an admin to make the change, just go to Setup->Project Preferences->Status

Is it possible to rename the default field label “Status”? If yes, can you share the steps?

Ahhh….unfortunately that label is a system label that is not able to be changed, just the label of the status, like going from Current to Active
