Reminders for work that is due or late re: non-templated tasks

I know this is a long shot, but just covering my bases...
is there a way to apply the Automatic Reminders to apply only a certain group or team? We could use either a reminder of what is due today each morning and/or late items that were due yesterday but not everyone in Workfront is game for that. 


OR

Is there a way to use the Templated Reminder Notifications in such a way that new tasks added to a project will automatically have the reminder check box marked? This is for a project where tasks are added on the fly and frequently from the Outlook add in. 




I have the notification shown below activated in hopes of certain project owners or sponsors to receive notifications when a task in their project falls behind. It does not seem to be working so I am looking for some alternatives without having to build out an automation in Fusion... 



If anyone has dealt with this and found a way to successfully remind people of their work, I would love to hear your advice!!

    Hi there! Unfortunately there isn't the ability to set up automatic reminders just for certain groups/teams/etc., something I've wished for. 

    What I recommend is having a task report (filtered to incomplete or due less than equal to $$TODAY) and for the tasks only assigned to the people in the group/team you want, and have a recurring report send daily at 9am, for example. Having a recurring report send allows you to specify specific group/team/people to send the report to, and with using the $$TODAY filter it'll always be up to date (as long as the tasks/projects are up to date of course).

    Thoughts?

      Thank you, Madalyn! This is essentially what we have now; we have one team that is asking for notifications "per work item" for reasons I cannot say (OCD?) but they know they were most likely not going to get them! Thank you for confirming!
