Putting a project on hold and wanting to be reminded about it after a specific date

Is it possible to put a project "on hold" and then have a reminder pop up when it needs to be worked on? I have a couple projects in my queue that I want in my queue for planning purposes, but I don't want to see them in my list until the start date appears. I suppose I could make a filter based on dates, but I wonder if that would filter out other projects I don't intend to hide. I'm curious what other people do in this situation. Leah Janz Metro Transit
