pulling program level data to journal entry report

hello, in our issue intake form we have a typeahead field set up named 'PIM program' that references program objects. I have journal entry report that is pulling a different field in the issue, but I'd like to include the PIM program field too. what is the correct way to pull in that program level field into my journal entry report?
