Provide the Option to Change Task Dates Based on Predecessor Completion

One of our teams would like have their task start and end dates update based on the predecessor task completion. If the predecessor task is completed late, they’d like to see the start and end dates for their task update to reflect the completion date of the predecessor task so that they can prioritize their tasks accordingly. For example, if the predecessor task is due 2/9 but not completed until 2/11, they’d like the start date of their task to be 2/12 instead of 2/10 (when the task constraint is “As Soon as Possible”). This would not be a universal rule but only applied to specific template tasks and/or for specific teams based on the way that they work.

They do have a report that sorts tasks by Handoff Date, but this does not fully meet their needs.
