Proof workflow for scheduled report emails

We have some monthly and bi-weekly reports that we'd like to send out of Workfront via the "Send Report" function. However, we'd also like to give the project manager/owner an approval window to stop the automatic delivery in case some issue needs to be addressed before the scheduled send happens. Is there a way to use Proof to accomplish this?
