Project Task calculation error

I'm encountering an issue when converting a request to a project, and also using a project template, the project does not calculate from the date the project is launched. (ex. The project has a completion date on 10/31/19, I launch the project on 10/14, the first project task is automatically set to begin on 10/12. Has anyone encountered this issue? Ellie Seton

In the project/template settings, are you scheduling from the completion date? You can try switching that setting to start date instead and see if that gets you where you need to be! Kirsten Heikkinen
