opening document from Home

We are new to Workfront and found that if you click on the "picture" of the document in the preview pane of Home, it opens some kind of weird preview or something, not the actual file. If you click on the name of the file, which is a link, then it brings you to the area where you see the document details and can open or download it. (screen shot attached) Is this normal behavior? Do you just need to train the users to click the right thing? Mavis Moon

Hi I believe it depends on what type of document you are talking about – ie Word documents act differently than PDF than HTML/zip files. In general, you always have to click on the words "Open Proof" for it to open in proof, otherwise you get the native file opening up in a new tab on the browser (or the Word document opening depending on how your computer is set up to download it or to just open it)
