Need the ability to control Role Cost Rates per project

We utilise Workfront to deliver projects to our customers utilising partners and our internal team. 

This means per project we have different Billing rates per role, but more importantly we have different cost rates per role. 

 

I need the same ability we have to manage billing rates but for COST rates, by role, per project for defined time periods. 

 

Otherwise I need to duplicate roles per partner per project resulting in potentially thousands of unmanagable job roles.

Hi @simonadler,

 

Rate Cards were released shortly after we developed our AFA Burn Report solution which tracks margins at the Project, Department, Role, and User level over time. During a meeting with the Dev team to discuss the (then upcoming) functionality, I remember asking the same "what about time sensitive Costs" question. At the time, tracking changing Billing Rates was their priority (as has now been released), but I just checked now and can see some evidence of the Costs concepts in the API, too.  Whether those hooks are preparations for a future release, or were (now abandoned) possibilities...time will tell.
