Lost updates to a Custom Form

I had made several updates to a Custom Form on 7/22, using the new builder.  Applied/Saved.  On 7/23, I'm demoing those changes to a business partner of mine.  An hour later, I'm demoing those changes again to a few other people.  I was going back and forth in between browsers and the form.  I close the form and open it up again and all of a sudden the old Custom Form builder is there.  And, the changes I had done the day before were gone.

I know this sounds bizarre, but Workfront reverted the form back to an older version.  I'm wondering if it's because of the old builder showing up. I closed out the form and brought it back up and the new builder was there.

Apparently, I was the last one in the form, but how is it possible to roll back?  That's not even an option in the form.  And, is there a place that you can see who made the latest update?

One more thing:  If two people are editing a custom form, would you receive a pop up, like a report, where you need to accept yours or the other person's changes?  I didn't get something like that.

I don't understand what happened.  Has anyone else experienced this?

Thank you.

Tracy

and to answer the other question yes, workfront will flag that to you that another user made edits to the form while you had one open, and you can decide if you want to save your changes or to keep changes made by another user

I haven't seen precisely that scenario myself, but it almost sounds like it got confused about which 'you' was 'you' and somehow loaded a cached earlier version of the form. If you want to see all the recent edits to a form, you can look under Audit Logs for the Log Types 'Custom Form', 'Custom Field', and 'Custom Section' to see what edits were committed. I know that's saved me a few times when I edited the wrong form by mistake.

Thanks, Katherine.  The Audit logs show things that were removed, but I didn't remove those, so this is just bizarre on what really happened.  Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback.

Okay, thanks.  I've never gotten a "mid-air collision" with a custom form before.  Report, yes.  Thanks.

Hi Tracy,

you might want to go to Setup area --> under system --> Audit logs --> under log type choose custom form --> users ensure its all users --> action type is all --> from and to date to be chosen like this week atleast to see who came in and whats the edit made.

this should show you who logged onto that form you are looking for and action/ object they touched upon.

hope this is useful.

Good morning, Sujatha.   I did do that, but what I saw was something entirely different than what happened in the custom form, which makes it even more bizarre.

I appreciate your help on this!!!!
