Lock workflow/project/template dates

Once I have a project put together, I need for the task owners to be able to contribute to the project, and in some cases have access to items that fall under the "manage" permissions, however, I DO NOT want them to have the ability to mess with the dates. I would love to see "Dates" appear as an option under the advanced settings for Manage Access for the project. (i.e., "When someone is assigned to a task... allow manage access to the task and the project, but have a check box for dates so that they cannot go in and change dates to whatever they want).
