Issue Adding New Task at Bottom of Project Without Unintended Indentation

Hi, I’m looking for some advice.

I have a user who is trying to add a new task to the bottom of a project. The task above it is a recurring task, but this new task should be a separate item. However, when they add it at the bottom, it automatically indents under the recurring task instead of appearing as its own task.

At the moment, the only workaround is to add the new task at the top of the project. Is there a way to add a task directly to the bottom of the project without it being nested under the recurring task?

Hi, can you try “closing” (to see easier) all the tasks and then clicking the “add new task” button at the bottom of the project? That button should deffinitly add it without identation on it’s own.

@JenniferCu1  when you add the task, hit enter and it will directly indent in the current Parent Task. However if you select the task, you should see controls to remove the indention and it becomes an individual/parent task once more.

Thank you! I’m getting an error message when I try to outdent the task saying that I cannot outdent a task that’s part of a recurring task.

Can you try then to turn off recurring tasks and then try?
