Adobe Workfront

Hey, is there a way to adjust work week in balancer for each employee separately, e.g. if I need one person to work only Thu-Fri and the other one on Mon-Wed? If I enter their schedule it gets distributed throughout the full week and I need 8h daily but only on 2 or 3 days for part timers, the rest of days should be greyed out the same way weekend is, thanks in advance!

Greetings! We recently made a UTM generator form that's 1:1 - meaning it builds all the UTMs necessary per channel for one singular URL. However, we haven't figured out how to do this when multiple URLs are involved for a campaign. Do any of you have suggestions?Would you use Fusion? Or, is it possible to generate without Fusion? TY

I've been trying to find other ways to create user wildcard request team reports without using the Assigned to or Assignment team as the wild card connector to report users, since I'm finding that requests may occasionally be unassigned. So far, I've tried issue reports. I tried Issue-Team ID with wildcard user teams, but that doesn't return results. When I try Issue-Team ID as a column, the Team ID results are blank in the report. Resolve Project-Home Group or Resolve Task-Home Group doesn't work either to get data in a column and due to this, I'm not sure if it's worth the text mode time to pull resolve group ID into the report since it doesn't seem like it will work based on the empty report columns for the resolve project/task home group. I would appreciate any ideas to connect requests to user wild card team/group in this report?  Thanks

It would be great to have a report that would show Users who have access to a project and the level of access they have to that project -- across multiple projects, instead of having to go into each project sharing popup page to find that information individually.We are trying to troubleshoot an issue where we think are seeing people's sharing access to projects change without our Traffic person making that permission change and we need a report to provide evidence of any permission/level of access changes across multiple projects.This would be a useful tool to verify bulk edit changes to assignments as well.

Hello! Some of my users are facing problems where the communication and updates from requestors are getting mixed up between the request and the resolving project. They are not keeping their communication in one place. The comments on the request do not automatically sync with the comments on the resolving project. This is causing confusion for the team. Apart from limiting access to the project or training requestors to use the request section for comments only, does anyone have any other suggestions for ensuring a consistent location for requests and their resolving projects?

Hi all, We're working to report on the first time we respond to a request within Workfront (via update or status change). Does anyone use the 'first response' field for that? I came across that when I was working on the reporting but couldn't find much documentation on it. 

Hey there,I'm looking to add a note/reply to an existing projects (note/update/comment/reply) using the API. I am able to add a note to an existing project via the endpoint "/attask/api/v17.0/note" using a POST request. { "noteObjCode": "PROJ", "objID": <<PROJECT OBJ ID>>>, "noteText": "Test message" } And this successfully comes through with the same outcome as "New comment" in the Workfront online interface. I can't however work out how to add a note, to this note. i.e. The same outcome as "Reply". Published Notes don't appear to have their own ObjIDs, and I've tried various versions of the ID, threadID, topObjID, etc, to no avail.Any thoughts on how this can be achieved? e.g.

I would like to prompt project owners to provide a final status update when changing a project status to Dead, Rejected, Completed, or On Hold so I can report the 'why' in a dashboard.  Is there a way to do this in Workfront or is a Fusion scenario required?

Hi Community,I needed to group a report chart by "Home Team Name" and found a previous page to help me do that by creating the value on custom form and using that to group on. That's great and works BUT.....For deactivated accounts, the value is blank ("No Value"), but the data is still needed on the report.Does anyone know how to include the Home Team from deactivated accounts please?ThanksMatt

HI All - I'm trying to use validation logic to prevent a task from being completed, UNLESS the user has completed the task's custom form drop downs. Id simply like the system to notify the task-assignee that the form fields need to be filled out in order to complete the task. Any suggestions?

Hi All,the Q2 2025 release notes mention the new event subscriptions version. This article describes the differences between the legacy and new version.And the list of the Workfront Fusion modules describes (not vey detailed) how you can switch between the versions:This suggests that you can change/set/manage the subscription version for each of your scenarios separately.I did some testing today and my findings don't confirm this.I found that:The module "Update Events Payload Version" needs to be run only once, to set the desired version. (As opposed to being included in the scenario each time when it's running.)More importantly, when the module runs, it sets the desired version for ALL your scenarios, not just for 1 specific scenario. (I confirmed this by checking my subsriptions' data using a custom HTTP call to the subscriptions endpoint.)So it seems irrelevant which of your scenarios includes the module. You could create a new scenario just to hold the "Update Events Payload Versio

In the WF instance I manage, users are allowed to log time directly on projects. However there is one project where we only want time logged to tasks. Any ideas for limiting the objects users can log time to (in this case: tasks on a specified project), when the instance is configured to allow time logged directly to projects? 

I have a report for proof approvers (regulatory, legal & brand) that is pinned on their dashboards and keeps them on track for what is pending and gives them quick access to click the links and review & approve when they have time. However sometimes they are reviewers rather than approvers. I don't get that option on the filters. Is there a way I can add that?

I'm looking for help with best practices for a design task.  More of the time it works fine to have a waterfall workflow between user 1, 2, and then 3.  But, more often now, we're having projects where we have three disciplines that need to run concurrently on the same design task.  How can we get this setup in Workfront?

Hello -  Having a complete brain freeze on how the scheduled refresh timing works and can't find an answer when searching. If I schedule a refresh for Thursday - does that mean it will be completed on Thursday or will it occur on Thursday night and be refreshed for Friday?  Thanks! 

Hi,the upload of documents in Workfront gets stuck. Usually the first upload of the day.Can't figure out what is wrong. Closed and reopened the app a few times.Eventually started working.IS anyone else experiencing the same?
