As the title says, I am at a loss.  I do not know where to begin, I just know that I need to become the admin.  Does anyone have the patience enough to help me through it?

Hi Brad!  I hadn’t seen an answer to Skye’s questions about which Adobe accounts that you are now supporting, but I can say that if one of those products is Workfront, then you are definitely in the right place.  All of the Workfront Champions, Community Advisors, and Customers are amazing and are always willing to share their experience and advice.  I also was one of the many who (surprise!) inherited a Workfront instance, so Madalyn’s suggestion is perfect!

There are also several Workfront User Groups that meet virtually and in-person that you could join to help with any questions.
There are also Courses on Experience League to get you started as well.

Last thing - your Customer Success Workfront Scale team offers around 80 free virtual events each year, where partner with customers and internal Adobe teams to share ideas, best practices, and recommendations. There is always something for beginners!  Here’s a link to the upcoming events (more are added each week), and here’s the link to some of our previous sessions.

    Hopefully this helps a bit!

I’d check out some blueprints in WF to get you started on understanding your instance, specifically the Inherited Instance Basics | Checklist blueprint. Know that you don’t need to understand everything at once, it can be overwhelming to take over an instance and will take some time to learn all its nuances.

If this helped you, please mark correct to help others : )

What “adobe accounts” are you supposed to be admin for? (are we talking different products, and if so, which ones)

What does being a company admin entail (do you have a description of your new role?)

What kind of contract do you have? For certain companies and certain types of contracts, you might be able to tap into some support from your Adobe account rep. Do you know how many users your company has?

@Brad Quick follow-up! Were you able to resolve this issue? If so, it would be great if you could share what worked for you so others can benefit. Also, if any of the replies helped—whether they fully solved it or just guided you in the right direction—please consider marking one as accepted. It really helps future community members find solutions faster. Closing the loop makes a big difference!
