How to use task dates as criteria for a project level report?

I'm trying to create a report that shows how many projects have a task planned date that is past due by project manager.
So I either need to use the task-level report I already have and create a chart by unique value of project name, OR I need to create a project-level report that draws on task planned dates within that project.

Has anyone created anything like this?

Thanks for the tag, @kautuk_sahni.

@Knelis13, if your goal is to show each TASK that is past its due by project manager, copying the Task report you already have and formatting it accordingly would be a good approach.

On the other hand, if you instead simply want to see each PROJECT with at least one Task that is past due, I’d instead suggest a Project report using a (more advanced) EXISTS filter, which you can learn about here.
